Friday October 2nd - Vertica (Henderson) Studio 1
11:00am Nia - Contortion (All Levels)
This class will break down how to stretch and mobilize different regions of your back so that you may utilize a more balanced and full range of motion in your backbends. We will discuss how backbends are frontal stretches - that is we should feel the stretch along the front of our body rather than pinching or compressive sensations in the back. Especially hard to unlock is the upper back range of motion, this often leads to overstraining the lower back to achieve deeper bends. We will focus on well-rounded back mobility and exercises to achieve this.

Master an exciting combination by exploring different splits and creative transitions, seamlessly blending elements that can be adapted to various skill levels. Focus on refining technique and enhancing grace throughout the movement.
12:00pm Evgeny - Chinese Pole (Beg-Int)
Learn the foundations of Chinese pole on a chrome pole. In this workshop you will learn how to warm up, climb and learn a cool Chinese Pole combo.
1:00pm Natasha - Pole Geometry (Int-Adv)
Learn Natasha Wang’s signature movement style, which incorporates grip variations, unusual contact points, and lots of twisty, thready, pretzel-y shapes and combos. Get ready to tie yourself into knots!
2:00pm Natasha - Pole Handstands (Beg-Int)
Learn the proper technique and conditioning exercises to hand balance in various handstand positions.
3:00pm Rafaela - Flips Flips Flips (Adv)
Flips off the pole including base work flips. (Flips are performed as a singular move or from a combo).
4:00pm Amelie - Spatchcock (Adv)
Learn 3 creative entrances and exits to her signature move.
5:00pm Roni - Flexy Shapes (Adv)
Break the rules of traditional pole with distorted shapes, raw movement, and intentional "ugly." This workshop explores how to mangle, creep, and subvert clean lines to express deeper themes and intent. Learn to command attention through deliberate distortion and emotional impact.
Pre-requisites: Must be able to climb, seat, invert, and use basic upright/inverted grips (e.g., Gemini, Scorpio, Brass).

11:00am Natasha - Handspring Clinic (Int)
This purely handspring workshop will cover the different handspring grips, leg and body positions, as well as fun entries and shape variations. We will also cover strength & conditioning drills that you can take into your own pole practice. It is recommended that students be able to hold a handstand against a wall for at least 30 seconds, and are comfortable with Extended Butterfly.
